Our sheds are made of wood and are built with 2×4 boards that are 16 inches apart on the center.
The covering is a thick 5/8-inch wood panel. The walls of our vinyl shed are made of 1/2-inch house-quality plywood, and the siding is made of pine wood with a 1×8-inch tongue and groove pattern for long-lasting strength and a great look. We even use good materials for the trim. For example, the corner boards are 1 x 4 pine, the soffit boards are 1 x 6 pine, and the gable ends are raked with 1 x 6 pine.
Exterior Materials and Roofing

A strong 2×6 ridge beam frames our famous Six Pitch roof design, which is made up of 2×4 rafters spaced 16 inches apart on center. A 1/2 CDX house-quality roof plywood covers the roof. Our 16-foot-wide sheds are made with strong 2×8 ridge beams and 1/2 CDX house-quality roof plywood. The roof rafters are 2x6s spaced 16 inches apart in the middle.
Our Gambrel roof is made up of 2×4 rafters that are 16 inches apart in the middle, strong wood beams that hold them up, and 1/2 CDX house-quality roof plywood that covers them. Our Deluxe roof design has 2×6 rafters spaced 16 inches apart and is formed with a strong 2×8 ridge beam. It is then covered with 1/2 CDX house-quality plywood. Roof shingles that last 30 years are used, just like you would on a house.
Customize Our Beautiful Freetown Sheds
